1. Job Title
Domestic Worker (Housemaid)
2. Job Description
A domestic worker is required to perform household duties including cleaning, laundry, ironing, washing dishes and utensils, and maintaining overall household cleanliness and organization.
Some families may require assistance in preparing Arabic meals. The worker should be willing to learn basic cooking if required.
In certain cases, the worker may be asked to provide childcare support, including caring for infants or young children.
3. Working Conditions & Benefits
The employer shall provide:
• Minimum of 9 consecutive hours of daily rest
• Private and decent accommodation within the house
• Three meals per day
• Medical care as required
• Air ticket as per contract terms
• All rights in accordance with Saudi labor regulations governing domestic workers
4. Qualifications & Requirements
The domestic worker should:
• Have basic experience in household work
• Be willing to learn new skills and adapt to a new environment
• Have basic communication skills in English or Arabic
• Be physically fit and medically cleared for overseas employment
• Be respectful, honest, and responsible
5. Duties & Responsibilities
The worker is expected to:
• Perform assigned duties responsibly and professionally
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the household
• Respect the privacy, culture, and values of the family
• Demonstrate honesty, good behavior, and positive attitude
• Cooperate with the employer to maintain a safe and harmonious home environment
• Commit to completing the two-year employment contract
6. Salary & Leave
• Salary: As per Saudi regulations and employment contract agreement
• Weekly rest day: As provided under Saudi domestic labor regulations
• Paid leave and end-of-service benefits according to applicable laws
7. Recruitment & Processing
Applicants will be processed through the licensed Ugandan partner agency.
The agency will brief applicants on job responsibilities, working conditions, and cultural expectations.
The agency will facilitate all procedures from application to deployment and travel arrangements.
